4 Vaqueros sign Letters of Intent with four-year schools for 2010-2011
The CAC Baseball team is proud to announce that 4 sophomores have signed with four-year colleges for the 2010-2011 season. Markus Bradley, an outfielder from San Diego, has signed with Arizona State University. Markus will join former Vaqueros, Jimmy Patterson and Xorge Carrillo, at ASU. In 2009, Markus was a NJCAA All-American and Big Stick winner. He hit .420 last year in 63 games with 22 stolen bases. Tyler Parke, a right handed pitcher from Oregon, signed with McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA. Tyler pitched out of the bullpen last season for the Vaqueros and posted a 2-2 record with 3 saves with an ERA of 2.35. Bryan Karraker, an outfielder from Phoenix, signed a letter of intent with New Mexico State University. In 2009, Bryan battled injuries to post a solid freahman campaign. He hit .284 in 49 games in 2009. AJ Schugel, an infielder/pitcher from Colorado, signed with the University of New Mexico. He will join former Vaqueros Ryan Honeycutt, Kenny Held and Zach Cleveland at UNM. In 2009, AJ played thirdbase and pitched in relief for the Vaqueros.

Congrats to former CAC Baseball Player, Matt Pagnozzi, who was called up to the Major Leagues.
Congrats to former CAC Baseball Player and current ASU Sun Devil, Jimmy Patterson, who was named ACCAC Male Athlete of the Year. Jimmy was also named Arizona Major League Alumni Junior College Baseball Player of Year. That is two in a row for CAC Baseball (Josh Spence-2008).
