University Transfer

Central Arizona College offers three degrees that allow students to transfer with junior status to the Arizona public universities: Associate of Arts (A.A.), Associate of Business (A.B.) and Associate of Science (A.S.). Other degrees and courses can transfer to the university level, but do not guarantee junior status. In addition to the Arizona public universities, Central Arizona College has a variety of partnerships and agreements with other institutions that can help facilitate your transfer into a four-year degree program that best suits your needs.

University transfer requirements can be very complex and confusing. If you are planning to transfer to a university, advisement is essential. Please contact the College and Career Transitions Center at 520-494-5448 or Academic Advising at 520-494-5410 to make an appointment.

If you would like to begin learning about the university transfer process, the online transfer information center provides an overview of the basic steps to get started.
