Welcome to Central Arizona College!
We are pleased to offer several different programs for students still enrolled in high school. If you would like to get a jump start on earning college credit please consider joining one of the following programs. The Early College Program:
The program provides high school students an opportunity to get an early start into college by taking courses while still enrolled in high school during the fall and spring semesters. Students must be enrolled in four high school classes to participate in the Early College Program. Spend part of your day at high school and part of your day at a college campus or center. Students that meet the program requirements will receive a scholarship for tutition. Students are responsible for the costs of books, transportation, and class materials.
The First Step Program:
The FIRST STEP program is a summer academic program that gives high school students an opportunity to get an early start into college by taking college courses during the summer session. Students that meet the program requirements will receive a scholarship for tutition. Students are responsible for the costs of books, transportation, and class materials.
Dual Enrollment:
High School students may take college classes at their high school as part of their regular high school day. Students are responsible for paying the tutition. Contact your high school guidance counselor for more information about the classes available at your high school.
