Library Support for CAC Centers

Library Support for Students at CAC Centers

The CAC Library provides a number of online services to support its distance education students.

Electronic Databases
Find magazine and journal articles using our electronic periodical databases. Students and Faculty can also access the databases from home by logging in to their Blackboard page and clicking on CAC Library Resources listed under their My Courses section.  This will take you to the library Blackboard page, click on Articles & Books to access the library's databases, eBooks and streaming video resources.

These are full-text reference books available online that will help you get a jump-start on your research.  The ebooks have comprehensive entries across a variety of subjects and topics, including the health sciences, current events, general sciences, philosophy, psychology, and literature.

Books from the Campus Libraries
The Library can send books from the campus library locations to each of the Centers.  Let one of the librarians know what you're looking for (you can also search the online catalog to find out what books the library owns) and we can have the books sent to you in just a few days!  If you've never checked out a book from the library before, be sure to visit the Front Help Desk at your center to fill out the new borrower form.

Reference Service and Research Help
The CAC librarians are available to help you! We can help you find and print online articles, books for your paper or project, answer questions on topics, refine your research strategy, set up a bibliography, and with other research needs.  For electronic reference services, including chat and e-mail, visit our Get Help Now page.
