Eighth Annual Academic Symposium
Central Arizona College - Signal Peak Campus

Who: Open to all students in all disciplines from Pinal County and surrounding areas
What: The Symposium is an academic conference where students share original projects, research or talents with other students and faculty
When: Friday, April 15, 2011, 12:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Where: Central Arizona College - Signal Peak Campus
8470 North Overfield Road, Coolidge, AZ 85228
Why: The Academic Symposium offers students the opportunity to present and discuss original work in a conference setting with others in an atmosphere of fellowship and scholarly inquiry and to be recognized with the student's nominating faculty member at a reception. It is a chance for a student to gain confidence and to better understand and appreciate the importance of contributing to a community of like-minded learners.
How: Faculty members may nominate students or student groups by completing and returning the nomination form by Friday, April 1, 2011
Protocol: Student participants, accompanied by nominating faculty, will be expected to attend the Symposium together
