Program Description

Our program emphasis is hands-on welding. Students gain experience in welding techniques, design and fabrication. This program offers practical training and advanced technology to help you succeed in your welding career.


Career Opportunities

welding The Welding Program is a vocational core of courses designed to produce qualified personnel for certified welding jobs. Program performance standards for certification will be in accordance with those established by the American Welding Society, American Society of Mechanical Engineers and American Petroleum Institute.  Courses are held in a completely modern and well-equipped welding lab.

For certified welders, there are virtually unlimited employment opportunities. High-paying jobs are available in both heavy and light industry throughout Arizona and abroad. The job market continues to grow creating endless opportunities for certified welders. Graduates are prepared for careers in mining, steel fabrication / erection, manufacturing, process piping, pipeline, and power generation fields. We also work with local industry partners who are in need of qualified personnel to help students join the workforce while they are completing the welding program.
