Manufacturing Engineering Technology Degree

Program Description

Employers in the automated manufacturing industries and Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) industries are in need of technicians. The MET program prepares you to enter various industries where you will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot various types of equipment used in the industry. This equipment can range from equipment that processes food products to an underwater robot used on a research ship.

Career Opportunities

Technicians are employed in the food, pharmaceutical and underwater robot industries.  Internships are available.

The curriculum is designed and reviewed yearly through industry partnerships.  All courses are offered in the classroom and online.  In most classes the student purchases their training equipment instead of textbooks which are about the same in cost.  Students need a computer, preferably a laptop, to complete all course projects and lab exercises.
