Program Description
Central Arizona College (CAC) offers a one year certificate in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) using AutoCAD Software. AutoCAD is used for mechanical drawings and in the engineering and architecture fields.

Students who complete the one year CADD Certificate are prepared for entry-level employment as a CAD drafter. In this program, students learn basic drafting techniques and become proficient in the use of computer-aided drafting software. No prior drafting experience is needed to begin the program.

All AutoCAD classes are taught in the computer lab of the Engineering Technology Division at the Signal Peak Campus with one student per station. You are invited to come by for a tour of our facilities. Please call or write for an appointment.
