Mission
The mission of the Central Arizona College Early Care and Education Program is to provide educational opportunities to a diverse learning community thereby improving the lives of children, their families, and the community.

Program Description
The Early Care and Education (ECE) Program at Central Arizona College (CAC) offers a variety of degree and certificate programs. CAC instructors work individually with students to find the pathway that best meets the need of each student.
We offer a variety of instructional formats including on-site delivery, online, interactive television, self-paced, as well as traditional classrooms and seminars. In addition, we can customize instruction upon request.
College credit is awarded for successful completion of coursework. Required textbooks may be purchased through the CAC Bookstore.

The Early Care and Education (ECE) Program at Central Arizona College is an excellent choice for anyone who is pursuing credit for the CDA credential, a Certificate of Completion in ECE, an Associates of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood or wants to begin a transfer pathway for their coursework towards a Bachelor’s Degree.
If you are a Child Care Provider or work in a Child Care Center you may be qualified for assistance. The Professional Career Pathway Project (PCPP) may help pay for tuition and textbooks for ECE classes!

- Online classes (with an online orientation that helps you get started with online coursework)
- Distance Learning using interactive television
