Dietetic Technician Associate of Applied Science

Effective immediately, August 14, 2014, the Central Arizona College Dietetic Technician Program will not be accepting new degree-seeking students into the program for Spring and Summer 2015.  This does not affect current Dietetic Technician AAS students.
 
On December 1, 2014, instructions and forms for APPLYING to the Dietetic Technician AAS degree program will be posted on our website: www.centralaz.edu/nutrition/DTAAS. The application deadline for entrance into the fall 2015 semester will be March 14, 2015.

The Dietetic Technician AAS degree at CAC is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) www.eatright.org/ACEND. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be eligible to take the Registration Examination from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) www.cdrnet.org.  A passing score is required to become a Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR).
