Mission and Vision
The mission of Dietetic Education & Culinary Arts Program at Central Arizona College (CAC) is to provide student-centered education in nutrition, dietetics, wellness, and culinary arts to diverse populations and cultures through a variety of formats.

The vision of  Dietetic Education & Culinary Arts Program at CAC is to be the leading community college in Arizona for nutrition, dietetics, wellness and culinary arts education.

General Information
Dietetic Education & Culinary Arts offers several degree and certificate programs that can enhance job skills and increase employment possibilities. Our areas of expertise include specialty classes, niche markets and creative course designs. With over a 30 year history of innovations in food, nutrition, and culinary arts education, we are proud to offer our programs to 21st century students using learner centered approaches.

Online or WEB-based
Online learning offers students more flexibility than traditional on-campus classes. Students can access their course work and submit assignments online to conveniently fit a variety of lifestyles.

Face to Face
Traditional classes are offered on the Signal Peak Campus during fall, spring and summer semesters.

Fast Paced CollegeClasses
Nutrition classes are offered face to face throughout the state of Arizona in a variety of formats (i.e. two-day, three-day, weekend sessions, etc.). Classes are intensive and require students to come prepared. After students are registered, they receive a confirmation letter with class preparation instructions.
