AAS Culinary Arts Degree (2016-2017)

The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Culinary Arts provides training in basic and advanced culinary skills and includes a practicum experience within a commercial kitchen.  Concentrations include Culinary Arts, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Business/Hospitality specialties.  Students are prepared for positions as professional chefs, cooks, and entry level management or for advancement in the food service industry.

Coursework articulates to Northern Arizona State University Hospitality and Restaurant Management Program.  A 2+2 program with Arizona State University, Food Service BAS degree is also available for those students who want to pursue a 4-year degree.

Culinary Arts AAS degree (65 Total Credits)
→Completion of Culinary Arts Certificate I (16 credits) and Culinary Arts Certificate II (25 credits)
→CUL290 Commercial Cooking Practicum (2 cr) (90 hours) Pre-req. CUL105 or NTR105; CUL130; and CUL160
