Entertainment Industry Technology (EIT) Program

Guitar PlayerIf you're looking for a career in the music industry, look no further! The Entertainment Industry Technology (EIT) program at Central Arizona College will prepare you for an exciting career in the music business. A literal "School of Rock," the EIT program is your chance to rock out and embed yourself in the technology and business of making music - for a living! This new, dynamic, hands-on program is designed to give students comprehensive training in the modern popular music entertainment industry.

Learn how to manage bands, record hit records in a recording studio, write and record hit songs, publish your original music, perform high-energy shows in front of live audiences, manage concert venues, run live sound and lighting at concerts, write contracts, get your music licensed in TV shows and movies, mix and master commercial-quality recordings, and so much more! Areas covered within each degree track include learning the current technology that is used in the industry, as well as modern business standards and practices. An fully accredited A.A.S (Associates of Applied Sciences) degree can be earned in any of four (4) different degree focuses, called "tracks":

- Artist and Venue Management A.A.S. Degree
- Live Audio and Lighting A.A.S. Degree
- Recording Engineering A.A.S. Degree
- Popular Music Performance A.A.S. Degree

Don't bother with those "other schools" that only certify you in one piece of software. At CAC's EIT program, you get a complete well-rounded education in the music industry with practical hands-on experience and an accredited associates degree or certificate in the area of focus that YOU CHOOSE! Plus, CAC EIT students get FREE STUDIO TIME for personal projects and class assignments! CAC has on-campus living, low tuition, and small class sizes with personal attention with instructors who have had successful careers in the music business. Our instructors are music industry veterans, national recording artists, award-winning performers, producers, entertainment law attorneys, radio DJ's, artist managers, tour managers, etc.

Seating is limited and classes fill up fast. Don't wait! REGISTER NOW before the music business leaves you behind!
