CAC’s community events programs packed with fun for families this spring

PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. - Central Arizona College will unveil a myriad of community events featuring theatrical productions, musicals, concerts, science explorations and art openings during March, April and May at its Signal Peak Campus.

The schedule kicks off this Tuesday, March 8, with the CAC Visual Arts Gallery opening of Reid Richardson's show entitled Still Searching.

Most of the events are family-oriented and are open to the community at no charge.

For shows that do have an admission fee, tickets are priced at $5 each with no charge for children under 18 and for students with ID.

Central Arizona College also is offering a Family Pack for $15 that includes one ticket for each of CAC's four creative arts productions:

• Comedy - Lend Me a Tenor (March 31-April 3)
• CAC Community Wind Ensemble & Hand Bell Choir (April 10)
• CAC Jazz Ensemble Concert (April 28)
• CAC College Choir Concert (May 1)

Tickets for these four shows go on sale March 10 and may be purchased over the phone by calling 520-494-5240, or in person at the Cashier's Office on the Signal Peak Campus located in the Student Services Building (M - Clock Tower) from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

No admission fee required. Vendors sell an array of crafts and products. Exhibitors from health and wellness agencies provide information. Music and theatrical productions provided by CAC.
