By Guy Harrison, Media & Marketing Specialist

APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. - If you would like to expand your knowledge of the Italian language, Central Arizona College's Lifelong Learners program offers you the chance to do so with Spoken Italian II at the institution's Superstition Mountain Campus.

The class, held over the course of eight Thursdays beginning March 24, will be in session from 1:30-3 p.m. Tuition is $60 for C.A.L.L. members and $75 for non-members.

This is a continuation of the Introduction to Spoken Italian course previously offered. It also is open to anyone with a minimal knowledge of the Italian language.

The course continues with a study of the fundamentals of Italian. The goal is to help students understand the basics of daily Italian conversation. Learn Italian the Fast and Fun Way by Marcel Danesi (third edition) is the required book for this class.

Dennis Riccitelli, instructor of the course, has taught many Italian courses and holds a master's degree in the beautiful Italian language. He is of Italian heritage and has traveled extensively in Italy. He enjoys teaching la bella lingua, italiano, and enjoys sharing his experiences of all things Italian.
