Re-energize with CAC Community Ed’s Reiki, meditation and hypnosis classes

CASA GRANDE, Ariz.Allison Sandblom, owner of the Casa Grande Holistic Wellness Center, will instruct members of the community wishing to make a mind-body-spirit connection during a series of Reiki, meditation and hypnosis classes offered by Central Arizona College’s Community Education program.

The Reiki introductory class will be held on Feb. 3 from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at CAC’s Corporate Center located just west of I-10 at the Florence Boulevard interchange in Casa Grande.

The Reiki II-Intermediate and Reiki III-Master class will be offered from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. on Feb. 17 and March 3, respectively, also at the Corporate Center. The cost of attending each Reiki class is $31.

Reiki is the study of energy therapy that uses simple hands-on and visualization techniques to improve the flow of life energy in a person. Reiki uses a gentle energy to assist in relieving stress, pain and various health issues.

In addition, students can explore meditation and hypnosis with two classes taught by Sandblom - Meditation for Relaxation and Stress Relief and Self-Hypnosis for Relaxation and Healing.

The two courses will be held at the Corporate Center on Feb. 11 and Feb. 25, respectively, from 10 a.m.-Noon. The cost of attending each hypnosis classes is $25.

Meditation for Relaxation and Stress Relief will explore meditation techniques to lower stress levels, assist with sleep, and heal the body, mind and spirit. Students will learn how to quiet their minds, as well as breathing techniques for relaxation, centering and connecting.

Self-Hypnosis for Relaxation and Healing will practice self-hypnosis techniques for relaxation, healing and de-stressing. Students will learn how to perform progressive induction to re-program negative thoughts, patterns and beliefs.

Sandblom is a holistic practitioner, teacher and speaker. She is a Reiki Master Teacher and received certification as a Mind Body Wellness Practitioner from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. She is also a certified hypnotherapist and is certified in past life regression.

Sandblom is a member of the Arizona Society of Professional Hypnotherapists as well as the American Board of Hypnotherapists. Additionally, she is a trained non-denominational minister and is certified in spiritual counseling.

Sandblom’s work has helped people overcome negative patterns and beliefs that have resulted in addictions, depression, weight and body issues, and feelings of anxiety, separation and disconnection. She uses a holistic approach to help facilitate healing and restore balance, peace and well-being.
