PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. - The Central Arizona College recruitment office is preparing for a pair of College Experience Days at the Signal Peak and Superstition Mountain campuses.
The event will run from 3-5 p.m. at the Signal Peak Campus on Wednesday, April 20, and from 5-7 p.m. at the Superstition Mountain Campus on Thursday, April 21.
The event serves as an open house of sorts for prospective students interested in learning more about the college, its campuses and all that they offer.
"It's a great opportunity for prospective students to come onto campus, get a feel for a CAC location, ask questions, and gather firsthand information from a variety of CAC faculty and staff members," Luis Sanchez, CAC's assistant director of recruitment, explained.
In addition, students will be able to complete CAC admissions requirements, register for classes, meet with advising and financial aid staff, and speak with faculty from different areas of the college about potential degree and certificate programs.
"This event gives students a chance to stay ahead of the curve, allowing them to register for classes earlier than most new students and to make well-informed decisions about financial aid and degree programs."
Light snacks will be available to all in attendance. Prize drawings and a $500 CAC scholarship will be given away at each event.
