Limited tickets remain for U.S. Army Field Band’s CAC Concert April 13

PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. - The United States Army Field Band's Concert Band and Soldiers' Chorus will march onto Central Arizona College's Signal Peak Campus with a special performance on Wednesday, April 13, at 7 p.m. in the Don P. Pence Center for Visual & Performing Arts.

The concert is open to the community and there is no charge for tickets; however tickets must be reserved in advance. There is a limit of four (4) tickets per person.

To request tickets, please e-mail Stella Garcia at stella.garcia@centralaz.edu. Tickets should be arriving via mail this week for those who have already placed orders.

The Concert Band and Soldiers' Chorus presents a powerful and diverse program of marches, overtures, popular music, patriotic selections, and instrumental and vocal solos.

Soldiers' Chorus performances often include the music of Broadway, opera, barbershop quartet and Americana. This established group has traveled and preformed in all 50 states as well as in more than 30 countries inspiring patriotism with their music and melodies.

Rick Moore, CAC's professor of instrumental music and the band director, has been asked to join the military band on stage for American Overture for Band by composer Joseph Willcox Jenkins.
