CASA GRANDE, Ariz. - The Central Arizona College Community & Continuing Education program is offering a one-credit course covering money management skills on Oct. 16 and Oct. 23 at the Casa Grande Center.
Practical Money Management will be held in Room A111 from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with Donald Taylor, a local money management guru.
“I want to be able to show students how to save money in non-traditional ways, whether it be by buying necessities in bulk, avoiding superfluous purchases, or reducing spending overall,” Taylor explained. “In addition, I want to stress the value and importance of having a strong credit score.”
The class will provide participants with numerous strategies for basic household budgeting, money management, credit repair and saving money.
“By the end of the second Saturday, those involved will be more comfortable in living with a budget and understand that credit repair is not as difficult as it may appear.”
For more information about the class or to enroll in the course, please contact Beverly Perry, coordinator of community outreach, by phone at 520-494-6618, or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
