Sharpen Your Money Skills during economic doldrums June 16, July 21 at Corporate Center

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – Central Arizona College’s Small Business Development Center, Consumer Credit Counseling Services, and the United Way of Pinal County are teaming up to offer a budgeting and debt management seminar at CAC’s Corporate Center in Casa Grande.
And there will be no raiding of participants’ pocketbooks and wallets.
Sharpen Your Money Skills is a two-hour, no-cost seminar that will be offered on Tuesday, June 16, and again on Tuesday, July 21, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. There is a limit of 25 people for each seminar, so preregistration is required.
The Corporate Center is located at 540 N. Camino Mercado in Casa Grande – just off the I-10 exit at Florence Boulevard on the site of the former Palm Center Outlet.
The seminar is designed to teach participants how to obtain their credit report and to understand what their credit score actually means. Participants also will learn how to negotiate with creditors and about factors that may impact credit scores.
Additional information on reducing debt along with tips on saving for the future will be offered. Each participant will receive a workbook during the program.
