9 CAC students unveil collaborative effort at Casa Grande Art Museum

CASA GRANDE, Ariz.Nine Central Arizona College art students are currently displaying their works at the Casa Grande Art Museum for the next two months thanks to a joint effort between college and community.

Cross Pollination Botanical Prints is currently running through Jan. 26 as part of a collaborative show featuring artists from the fine arts departments of Central Arizona College and Pima Community College.

The free public show is being held in the Casa Grande Art Museum located at 319 West Third Street in Casa Grande, Ariz.

Guests may visit the exhibit from on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until the end of January. The museum will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

The artists representing Central Arizona College include six students from Casa Grande, one from Coolidge and one from Eloy.

The students from Casa Grande include Julia Andres, David Andres, James Fleming, Deborah South McEvoy, Jill Renee Smith, Steve Straussner and Phyllis Wagoner. Martha Wilson is from Eloy and Susan Ramos represents Coolidge.
