Public offered free opportunities to view student artwork at the Signal Peak Campus
COOLIDGE, Ariz. – The Pinal County community now has two opportunities to view the majestic artwork produced by Central Arizona College students at the institution’s Signal Peak Campus.
The Central Arizona College Student Art Gallery is currently displaying works Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in Room 107 of the Bradley Sizer, Jr., Center for Business Studies (Building N). Guests may also know the area as the ticket office for the Don P. Pence Center for Visual and Performing Arts.
The gallery is free to the public and filled solely with pieces of art produced by Central Arizona College students.
On Tuesday, April 22, the public is invited to the opening reception of the art department’s annual Student Art Exhibition in the Visual Arts Gallery located lobby of the Student Services Center (Building M).
The reception will run from 6-8 p.m. and is free to the public. Complimentary food and beverages will be served at the unveiling that will kick off the three-week showing.
The menu for the reception will feature a Celebrate the Southwest motif produced by the culinary arts students of Central Arizona College. The faire for the evening will include:
- Chicken Chipotle Nachos with Avocado Cream on Corn Pancakes
- Green Chile Cheese Puff
- Anasazi White Bean Dip with Crudités
- Fruit Kabobs with Dark and White Chocolate
- Lemon Pecan Cookies
- Desert Breeze Fruit Punch
Beginning April 23 through May 10, the Student Art Exhibition will be open to the public from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Friday.
