Eastern Pinal County GED & ESL Classes (Academics)

Registration for Central’s ESL and GED classes in eastern Pinal County starts Aug. 8

WINKELMAN, Ariz. - Registration for Central Arizona College’s English Language Acquisition for Adults (ELAA or ESL) and General Educational Development (GED) classes begins this Wednesday, August 8, at its Aravaipa Campus outside of Winkelman.

Students must pre-register at the campus. Due to a new policy, registration will no longer take place at the class site or on the first day of instruction.

Most classes will be divided into a pair of eight-week periods over the duration of the semester. The first session begins on August 20 and the second session will begin on October 11. These ESL and GED classes are currently provided at no cost to Arizona residents.

Fall semester classes will be held at the following days and locations

Central Arizona College’s Aravaipa Campus

  • ESL 6:30-9:30 p.m., Thursday (Thursday, August 23 - December 6)

Kearny (Ray High School)

  • GED 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (Begins Tuesday, August 21)

Mammoth Elementary School

(111 Dungan Dr., Mammoth, AZ)

  • ESL 6-9 p.m., Tuesday & Wednesday (Begins Tuesday, August 21)
  • GED 6:30-9:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday (Begins Tuesday, August 21)

Oracle (Mt. Vista Junior High School)

  • GED 6:30-9:30 p.m., Monday & Wednesday (Begins Monday, August 20)

San Manuel (Gardner Learning Center)
