Arizona State Retirement System
Most full-time Central Arizona College employees are automatically members of the Arizona State Retirement System. ASRS is a defined benefit system. The salary contribution rate for 2011-2012 is 11.39% (That includes 11.16% for retirement and 0.23% for long term disability). The 2011-2012 employer contribution rate is 10.10%. The contribution rates are set by Arizona State Statute.

Central Arizona College police officers are members of the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System.
