|Campus Safety Information|
The College has developed a plan which addresses the campus management system for extraordinary situations that are likely to have a catastrophic effect on the normal functioning of the campus and the surrounding area. The Emergency Management Plan has been developed to respond to the needs of the College during a disaster and will be placed into operation by the President of C.A.C. when an incident reaches proportions beyond the capacity of routine procedures. This plan establishes policies, procedures, and an organizational structure which will guide the campus in any emergency situation.
This link will take you to the Emergency Procedures Guide only, to facilitate the quick retrieval of information helpful in specific incidents. The primary purpose of the guide is to assist students, faculty and staff in the ability to respond to emergency situations. The guide also serves as an important training tool for new students and new employees as part of their orientation. The guide can also be found in the Emergency Management Plan above.
This link will take you to a list of locations throughout the district where automatic external defibrillators (AED) can be located. The list also includes locations of first aid kits. Remember that the first action in any medical emergency should always be calling 911 (836-9655 at Signal Peak) and providing the nature of the emergency and the exact location, to enable first responders to reach you quickly.
